The release of the patch follows confirmation that the game will be getting released on both the PlayStation Vita (as a cross-buy option for PS3 owners of the game), the PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. As with usual updates for the game, Minecraft’s 1.06 update for the PS3 brings with it a host of new texture and skin packs, along with the usual array of bug fixes and enhancements to the game.
